School Hours and Attendance Requirements

  • Students are required to remain on school premises during working hours. In the event of an emergency, prior approval from the Vice Principal or Principal is essential.
  • Attendance on the first day after vacations is compulsory. Any planned absence must receive prior approval from the school management.
  • Absences due to emergencies must be documented using the Absence Record Form available in the notification section of our website.
  • Students who maintain at least 90% attendance and fulfill all academic requirements (assignments, assessments, presentations, participation) will be permitted to appear for final examinations.

Health & Safety

  • In the event of a contagious illness (e.g., conjunctivitis, chickenpox, influenza), students must remain at home until medically cleared to return.
  • Parents must promptly inform the form teacher, mentor, Vice Principal, or Principal if their child encounters a major health issue, so appropriate support can be arranged.

Behaviour & Discipline

  • CBHS promotes positive discipline in partnership with parents. Physical punishment is strictly prohibited. Constructive disciplinary measures, such as written warnings, may be used when necessary.
  • Continued misconduct after prior warnings may result in suspension or expulsion following review by the Discipline Monitoring Committee. Parents will be duly informed beforehand.

Grievance Redressal Policy

All grievances from students, parents, or staff must be submitted formally through the Grievance Redressal Form available on our website. The management team will review each case and communicate a resolution. Only formal submissions via this form will be processed.

Personal Belongings

  • Students are advised not to bring valuables (mobile phones, jewelry, cash, gadgets, or cameras) to school. The school shall not be responsible for loss or damage of such items.
  • Parents sending fees or important cash with their child must ensure it is deposited at the admissions office immediately upon arrival.

Parental Engagement

  • Parents are encouraged to attend Parent-Teacher Meetings (PTMs) held once or twice annually to review academic progress. Notifications will be shared through WhatsApp or SMS.
  • Parents seeking meetings with instructors or administration must book appointments in advance through the Appointment Form available on the website.

Uniform & Grooming

  • Boys must maintain neat short hair, trimmed nails, and a tidy appearance.
  • Girls must keep their hair clean and tied back if longer than shoulder length. Girl Students may wear hijabs or veils if they wish, provided they comply with the uniform colour and neatness standards.
  • Compliance will be checked regularly.

Punctuality Pick-Up

Parents of students not using school transport must ensure timely pick-up within twenty minutes of dismissal.

Homework & Diary Checks

Parents must review their child’s diary daily, ensure homework completion, and sign in the designated column.

Nutritious Food

Students’ lunch should consist of healthy food. Fried or processed snacks such as chips, wafers, instant noodles, sweets, pastries, candies, and sugary drinks are highly discouraged at CBHS.

Educational Environment at Home

Parents should maintain a supportive learning environment and limit unnecessary screen time.

Timely Fee Payments

Timely payment of school fees ensures smooth operations and timely staff salary disbursement, enhancing teaching motivation.

  • All fees once paid are non-refundable except where explicitly approved by school management.
  • The school reserves the right to withhold report cards or transfer certificates until all dues are cleared.

Withdrawl & Notice

Parents wishing to withdraw their ward must provide one month’s written notice or pay one month’s tuition in lieu thereof.

Adherence to School Policies

All students and parents must comply with school rules and policies, which may be revised periodically. Notice of such revisions will be communicated via the school website or circular.

Limitation of Liability

While CBHS takes every reasonable precaution for student safety, the school shall not be held liable for any accident, injury, or loss beyond its reasonable control, whether within or outside school premises, including transport services.

Data & Privacy

Parent and student data will be used solely for academic, administrative, and communication purposes, and will not be shared without consent, except when required by law.

Declaration & Acknowledgement of Parents/Guardians

By enrolling my child at CBHS, I confirm that I am the parent/guardian of the student named in this application, and that all information provided is true and accurate. I acknowledge and agree to abide by the school’s terms and conditions and commit to cooperating with school management to foster a holistic educational experience.

Non-Compliance and Disciplinary Actions

Failure by students or parents to comply with the Terms and Conditions, school rules, or directions issued by the school management may result in appropriate disciplinary or administrative action. Depending on the nature and frequency of non-compliance, such action may include written warnings, temporary suspension, withholding of academic privileges (including participation in examinations or activities), or termination of enrollment.

The school reserves the right to take necessary action in accordance with its policies to maintain discipline, safety, and academic integrity.
